Physical Examinations Requirements
- The Dartmouth Public Schools follow regulations set by the Department of Public Health that all school children must have a comprehensive physical examination done by a family physician prior to entering preschool and kindergarten.
- A physical examination is mandatory each year prior to participation in any sport. The physical examination must be dated as of August 1st for that year.
- The Department of Public Health also recommends that students have a physical examination by a family physician before entering Grades K, 3, 6 and 9.
- Please notify the school nurse of any changes in medical status.
